Had ongoing water issues, and the host was unresponsive and accusatory instead of fixing them. Positive: Check in process. Negative: We booked this property for three nights to celebrate Christmas with our friends and children. Check-in on December 24th was smooth; however, from around noon on December 25th, we began experiencing serious water supply issues. The property repeatedly ran out of water, and when water was available, the pressure was extremely low—sometimes taking 10–15 minutes just to fill a small bucket. We contacted the host multiple times seeking assistance, but his responses were brief and unhelpful. Instead of arranging a proper repair or sending a qualified person to inspect the system, we were instructed to limit water usage, avoid taking showers, and not flush toilets at the same time. As a result, we went extended periods without showers, and toilets often could not be flushed unless we manually filled them with buckets. Later, the host accused us of tampering with the system and deliberately wasting water to request a discount. These accusations were both unfair and distressing. To date, we have received no apology or acknowledgment of the issue. The water pressure gauge consistently showed 10 PSI or less, clearly indicating a problem with the property’s water system. Although the property is advertised to accommodate up to 36 people, it could not adequately support even 25 guests, a number that was clearly disclosed during the booking process. Additionally, while the listing mentions nine rooms, several do not have private access, requiring guests to pass through other rooms, which significantly reduced privacy. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience due to poor facilities and the host’s lack of responsibility and professionalism.

We booked this property for a large family reunion and had high expectations, but the stay was very disappointing. The water situation was unacceptable—barely enough to flush toilets, no dishwashing, no cooking, and no showers. Some of us went three days without showering. For the price we paid, this should never happen.The property manager admitted he was trying to get a plumber, but the issue was never resolved. Communication was slow, and I didn’t get a clear response about a refund until long after we had to make decisions on our own.To make matters worse, the host suggested someone in our group left an outdoor faucet open, which was not the case. This felt like an attempt to deflect blame instead of taking responsibility.Beautiful space, but the basics weren’t there. I would not recommend this rental unless you’re okay with the risk of having no running water.
